Tonight is my 10 year high school reunion. I’m not going. I never planned on going. If Facebook didn’t exist, I’d probably go. But I don’t need to be in a room full of people I don’t know, don’t remember, don’t like, or just don’t have much to say to considering we keep in touch online. The absolute only reason I even considered going is because it’s being held at a hotel where they filmed Ghostbusters, the scene where they chased Slimer through a ballroom. Except I’d be stuck there in a dress because reunions always have a dress code, and I’m just not down for that. Now that I know that hotel is located in Los Angeles, I’ll visit it on my own eventually.
One big reason why I’m not going tonight, besides simply not wanting to, is it’d just be the party scene from BASEketball. I’d wander around trying to schmooze and all these people would have amazing stories of what they’ve done or what they’re doing, then they’d ask what I’ve been up to and I’d be standing there saying “…Just hanging out, playing Nintendo. Cock.”
